The Glory of God

God gave the Isrealites instructions for the Tabernacle and they obeyed what the Word of God said. The presence of God came immediately when everything was ready. God desires to be with his people, and his glory to be known among the nations. 

#60 The Renewed Covenant

The intercession of Moses has revealed more of the nature of God, and He will renew the covenant with his people. This message focuses on the charge to follow the commandments and the rhythms of worship for the people. All the while Moses is in the presence of God, which has a noticeable effect on his countenance. In our lives, we must desire to surrender to the Lord and rest in his presence. 

#59 The Depths of God

Moses is shown the depths of God from the cleft of the Rock, as he asks to see God's glory. Moses' desire is for God's presence to go with them. He understands that you cannot be the people of God without the presence of God. 

#58 The Golden Calf

As we look at the idolatry by the Israelites, we are confronted with our own shortcomings and the grace of God. His holiness is like nothing we can fathom, and the intercessors from the Old Testament lead us to the Intercessor in Jesus. 

10 Commandments Part 2

As we finish up the segment on the 10 commandments given to Israelites, we look at the purpose of the Law and connect it to the New Covenant. We see the importance of understanding the covenants in context and the beauty found in the plan of salvation.

The simplicity of the gospel can clearly be seen in the first sermon by Peter in Acts 2. We can also see the importance of baptism for the new believer. As the gospel cuts to the hearts of the people, they are told to repent and be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

Do you test the Lord in the small things of life? We do this often when we don't understand the grace that has been given to us by God. We need to dive deeper in our understanding in order to trust rather than test.

God provides for his people in the wilderness, even though they grumble and complain against Him and Moses. As they are given basic needs of water and food, it begs the question, what is it that you hunger and thirst for in this life?

As the Exodus journey begins, God will lead His people to the Promised Land. The people will not always understand what is going on, but God will provide. In our message today, the Israelites will experience liberation from their enemy. Follow along as we read Exodus 13:7-14:31.
