Looking at the calling of Abram, it is important to understand that he was chosen by God, and the blessings that followed revolved around his obedience to the command of "Go".

The cultural push to humanism is a dangerous one for the church. We need to understand how to be relevant and to what ends in our communities. Looking at the Tower of Babel will help us to understand our own attitudes and vision as a church, and individuals. 

God's promises are trustworthy. As we look at the everlasting promise given to Noah and the accompanying sign, we see the connection to the new covenant made with the body and blood of Jesus the Christ.

Understanding the language surrounding the flood in order to give us the proper context for our interpritations on the universal flood.

The purpose of The Flood is to deal with ending wickedness and corrupt ways. In His mercy He provided an Ark. God will judge the world for it's wickedness again, and in His mercy provided Christ. 

As a Just and Holy God needed to hand down consequences for the actions of Adam and Eve, He also gives them mercy by covering their shame and hope in a future offspring.

What happened leading up to the fall and how can we combat temptation? Satan asked a simple question, “Did God really say...”. Satan will use any means to deceive God's beloved children. We need to know what God has said, so that we can know his Words when being tempted. Christ came so that we may be freed from guilt and shame, just go to Him. 

Many people struggling with reconciling God being good or all powerful in a world that has the presence of evil. Where did it come from, what is our solution? We begin a look at evil and sin, and what God has done through the events of the fall.

God has given us a helpmate and we need to understand this term in today's culture in order to promote healthy marriages. 

Understanding biblical rest is important for a culture that thrives on restlessness. Knowing where to find the true rest is beneficial to everyone. We examine why God finishes the days of creation with a day of rest.
