As we walk through this life, our perspectives can change from time to time. As the disciples are sent with a purpose and a mission, they return with the perspective that overlooks the hardships of serving for the victories ahead of them. The joy that they have stems from the fact that their names are written in the book of life. This joy is deepened through serving the Lord, and seeing how he works through them. Our perspectives are to be ones of joy.

We need to do the same today in order to fully understand our impact as followers of Christ in a world struggling with identity.

Jesus' rebuke of the physical storm and casting out of the demonic raging in the man at Gerasene show the authority and power in his life. They shows an abrupt change that is evident, and those impacted are to be his witnesses of what has been done.
