The Lord institutes a feast for the Israelites to remember with the Passover. The connections of this sacrifice to the sacrifice of Jesus gives us greater understanding for the faith we have in the Word of God.  

Midnight is coming, so do you mourn for the lost? Even if it is your enemy? The 10th and final plague will complete the judgement on the Egyptian gods and deliver the people of God, His firstborn.

A comparison of the attitudes of Pharaoh and Moses show the difference in humbling oneself before the Lord. It is important for us to consider how in our life we bargain with God, rather than humble ourselves. 

 Warnings signs are throughout the Bible, and they are especially important for the church today. Jesus tells us to count the cost before we become a disciple. How are we doing with both of these things?

Many people struggle with the thought that God hardened Pharaoh's heart. Today we explain the theology of the hardness of heart in order to deal with our own hardness. 

When we look at the 3rd and 4th plagues, we see a change in how the plagues are delivered, who is affected and Pharaoh's response. Within all of this Pharaoh tries to hang on to his control. We compare how control impacts our daily walk with Him as well.

Looking at the second plague, we see the lesson that Pharaoh learned as he asked Moses to plead to the Lord on his behalf, that there is none like the LORD our God. How does this important truth impact the deeper life in Christ that we have?

Many times we can overlook the compassion and grace that God shows to the hard-hearted. God is patient not wanting any to perish, but for all to come to repentance

This week we continue to look at the calling of Moses, studying his problems or complaints before the Lord and how the solutions to all of his problems are provided by God.
