How well are you following the calling of the Lord in your life? We are looking at Moses as he rejects the calling of God and his Word. We need to reflect on how we also deny the Word of God in our lives

On this Resurrection Sunday, we look at the importance of understanding the Resurrection in our faith, and how the gospel message needs to remain simple. We can not add things to salvation at any point.

As we begin the Exodus journey a great conflict will change the livelihood of the Israelites. Under conflict and change they will uncover where their commitments lie.

God's plan to bring Israel to Egypt is realized as Joseph explains God's purpose of sending him to Egypt ahead of them. His brothers sold him, but God sent him.

Continuing to look at the life of Joseph, we look at how he goes from the put to the palace and how he focused on God to proclaim what had been revealed.

What does it mean to be a man of integrity? Joseph is one of the best examples of this recorded in the Bible. His faith persevered through many trials and circumstances, and we need to learn how to hold onto integrity in our own lives.

The covenant made with Jacob carried on the promises from God, and there were some new additions. He told Jacob that he would be with him no matter what, would Jacob believe that?

Our in-laws can be wonderful in many ways. They can also be an addition to the dysfunctions surrounding us. We continue to look at Issac's family to see how their interactions affect their daily lives.  

How do we handle when everything around us falls apart? Looking at the end of the blessings of Jacob and Esau, we are able to see the need to firmly root our identities in Christ. 

Looking at the deception between Isaac and Jacob highlights the dysfunction in this family. Our focus within this dysfunction is lying and how it is an obstacle to the communication that we talked about last week.
