#11 Days 3-6 7.1.18

Days 4,5, and 6 of creation show strong purpose and order within creation, not randomness and chance. With our world being taught evolution as truth, we have lost the understanding of our distinctness from the rest of creation as humans. We need to regain this understanding, to put our hearts in mind in proper perspective to impact our culture and communities.

#10 Days 1-3 6.24.18

Looking at what God has done, we are studying the first three days of creation. Looking at the interpretations of key words and the meaning of "days" in Genesis 1. Reflecting on just the first three days, gives us hope in the intentional nature of God and His creation. 

#9 Did God Create Everything? 6.17.18

What is it that you believe about the origins of the universe? Are you able to trust what the Bible says with the 1st verse of Genesis, "in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

#8 What Has God Done? 6.10.18

As we begin our new series, we want to keep the wondrous things that God has done to the forefront of our minds. Prepare to wrestle with the texts and your beliefs to know what you believe and where your foundation lies. 

#7 The Most High God 6.3.18

Our God is the God of gods, the Lord of lords, and the King of kings. We try to replace Him with other things in our life and claim truth in other areas. Even in our feeble attempts, the truth will remain that he is the Most High God.

#6 God Our Banner 5.27.18

Where do we turn when we need guidance and direction? Where we turn is our banner. A banner was a focal point that people looked to in battles, in order to receive instructions and commands. The centrality of Christ is the Banner of our faith, to which we must look. 

#5 God Our Coming King 4.29.18

The Coming King is a doctrine stemming from Acts 1:11. This teaching has been consistent through all of Scripture as we understand God as our King. For us as believers we have hope in His imminent return to establish the earthly kingdom, to receive our glorified bodies, and have victory over our enemy. Maranatha Lord, Jesus!

In a world and culture where we look to many things for escape from being bored in this life, we are really searching for meaning. We want to be saved from the everyday life, but salvation runs deeper than this. The hope for our salvation is only found in Jesus the Christ.

What does it mean for God to be our Redeemer? What have we been redeemed from? What was used for redemption? These questions plus the communion message tied in.
